WW2 Third Reich Leather Luftwaffe Map Case

A fantastic M35 type German map case. Constructed of smooth leather with a wonderful patina. The map case consists of two main internal map compartments with compartments to the front for 5 pens/pencils, eraser and ruler. The pull tab for the eraser is also intact. The rear of the case is fitted with belt attachments. It would appear that the retaining buckle and strap on the front have been field modified for some reason.
