WW2 RAF C Type Flying Helmet

The chamois is good condition including the internal donuts although a little grubby as expected. The outer leather is in good supple condition as is all the stitching. The popper studs are made of brass rather than steel. Although fading, the pilot has painted his name in yellow on the top (Alderwick) and has also sewn in additional chamois to cover some of the internal popper studs for comfort.
