WW2 RAF Concealed Escape Compass - Bottle Cork

An escape compass ingeniously hidden within, what appears to be an ordinary cork. The compass is accessed by twisting the cork which is held in place by by two small 'dowels' - similar mechanism as light bulb bayonet fitting. The cavity that houses the compass has enough space to conceal other objects (i.e. paper maps)
