WW2 Para Toggle Rope - 1944

This is a really nice example of a toggle rope, stamped 44 on one side with B&B and crows foot on the other. Paratroops & Commandos were equipped with a piece of sisal sailor rope with a wooden toggle, these were linked together forming a longer rope used to help cross rivers or mountainous terrains.
