WW2 BOX LUFTWAFFE COMPASS

This is a full box of 12 unissued Luftwaffe escape compasses. The box is clearly stamped with the Luftwaffe eagle and dated 1939. Each compass measures approximately 18mm in diameter.
All in perfect working order. This are German issued compass as illustrated on page 124 of Phil From's reference book 'Evasion and Escape Devices'. The compass is very similar to the early British double sided type, but has the correct compass bearings in German.N,NO,O,SO,S,SW,W,NW
