WW2 SOE Release Switch No. 6.

This device is a small rectangular box with hinged lid, the other end of which forms a flat tail. As long as the tail is held down the switch is safe. When released the hinged cover rises and the switch fires. This type of switch was used by SOE and resistance groups for booby traps.
