WW2 French Resistance Incendiary Device

This is appears to be an improvised incendiary device or booby trap disguised as a box of matches. Either designed to start a fire or possibly filled with a small amount of explosives to maim an unsuspecting victim. The tension of the coil is released when opening the matchbox thus causing the flint to strike.
