WW2 German SS Runes - Diamond Arm Patch

An SS or Schutzstaffel diamond patch. The badge is in great condition with silver wire runes on black wool edged with black/silver braided border. The buckram backing remains fairly stiff and there are no signs of any moth damage. This would have been worn on the right sleeve of the ordinary ranks and N.C.O.s alike.
