WW2 German Military Dish - CHOLM 1942 Shield Attached

An unusual item which was amongst a box of German WW2 photographs. This is an eight sided silver coloured 'worn' dish with a CHOLM 1942 shield attached to the centre. The underside has been stamped with quality RZM & WaffenAmpt stamps. Possibly used as a coin dish. Measures 16 x 16cm approx. I really do not have much clue on this item, so selling as a decorative piece only.
