WW2 Deutsches Jungvolk Early Buckle
Probably a prewar piece stamped from brass. This pattern of buckle was worn by members of the Deutsches Jungvolk, a Hitler Youth organization for boys aged 10 to 14. The front of the buckle retains nearly all of the original plated finish. The “victory rune” emblem of the DJ was not plated so that it clearly stood out against the nickel silver. The makers mark may be covered by the thick nickel silver plating but you can just make out the RZM logo. Unfortunately the soldered catch is missing so priced appropriately - still displays beautifully.
