Home or field manufactured the armband is constructed from a white canvas material with a silk tricolour patch stitched to the front and stamped with the Cross of Lorraine (Similar construction to item 51789). There are round stamps to the front and rear and the number 135. Although very grubby & stained overall the armband is in great original condition.

1. Nachtausweis (Night permit) dated 1943.
2. Carte D'Idente for Pas-de-Calis dated 1944.
From what I understand his occupation is a Guard of Electrical Cables. It is interesting to note that the night pass was extended to 01 Oct 1944. The Canadians captured the Pas de Calais the day before! So it did not need renewing further ;-)  read more
