1943 RAF Pilots General Notes & Flying Log Sheet
The Pilots Notes General is a 2nd edition dated 1943. The Pilots Flying Log Sheet belongs to Lindsey. G. FX 705482 (Flying Instructor) part of 29 E.F.T.S. The log contains the names of several RAF officers. Comes with two photographs dated 1914 & 1915 found inside the book. This would benefit from further investigation. read more
WW2 MkII RCAF Decled Helmet CL/C 1942
A Canadian MkII CL/C 1942 dated helmet complete with liner marked VMC 1941 size 7 3/4. The helmet appears to be a very dark blue/green colour with an RCAF decal applied to the front. read more

I have not seen or come across such a helmet before. This is 'possibly' a helmet belonging to a member of the RCAF ground crew trained under the Commonwealth Air Training Program (BCAPT) established in 1940. Many of the RCAF units serving in the UK embarked for France within a month or two of Normandy landings, setting up and operating bases within France.

WW2 RAF 43 Pat Escape Boot Knife - Single Blade
RAF 1943 pattern boot escape knife. Blued steel sheath measures approx 9 x x 1.5 cm. The knife is in excellent condition. Several types of this knife are know to exist, including a more double bladed version. read more
WW2 French M19 26 Adrian Helmet - Infantry Badge
A WW2 issue French Adrian helmet of the M26 model with infantry badge to front. The helmet is in good solid condition with no dents. There is some light surface rust to the tip of the crown and the paintwork is blemished on one side per photographs. The helmet comes with its liner but no chin strap present. read more
WW2 KRRC 1939 Dated Side Cap
This field service side cap is in good condition with no moth damage. The cap is fitted with a blackened KRCC badge with slider and red cloth backing. The front retains its original blackened KRRC buttons. The inside of the cap is fairly grubby as can be expected and has faint WD stamp and 1939 date stamp. read more
USA M4 Bayonet & Scabbard
This is an Italian made version of the USA M4 bayonet, scabbard and webbing loop. The dark brown grooved bakelite handle is in great condition as is the parkerised steel blade. The the locking mechanism is fully functional. The back of the webbing has, what appears to be, the original owners serial number written in pen.

WW2 Era Folding Knife
This unusual knife came as part of a display containing French Resistance items (see item 51815). The knife consists of a steel blade with brass ricasso and folding mechanism. Various stamps including "Best Steel" and No6 exist. . The blade has clearly been used and sharpened. Possibly originally a private purchase item? Length 17cm when folded and 24cm fully deployed.
