Every household across the country, who accommodated evacuees, during the WW2 was sent a thank you note from Queen Elizabeth (wife of King George VI). WW1 Princess Mary Tin with Contents

A good example of the Princess Mary Tin with contents including; 1914 dated Christmas card & envelope, Unopened packet of tobacco and opened packet of cigarettes, with seventeen monogramed cigarettes remaining. There appears to be someone name written in pencil on the yell tobacco lable. The tin is in original condition, perfectly working lid with no dents or cracks. read more
