This is a texture helmet that has a discernable camouflage patter, probably for the Northern European theatre of war. The helmet has the Wyvern Dragon decal painted on one side associated with the 43rd (Wessex) Division. The inside of the helmet retains all of its factory issued paint. The shell is stamped VP WD I 1938 with lugs also stamped 1938. The Mk.1 liner is stamped 6 3/4 VERO I 1938.  read more
