Rare find, this is an early war period cartwheel type escape compass concealed within the base of a white bristled shaving brush. The brush is manufactured by Halex Ltd, dated 1941 with the crows foot. This brush would probably have been issued to an army officer serving in the North African campaign. read more

WW2 Rare German Chloramin Tin - Hauptner 3
German Wehrmacht Chloramin-Tabletten zu 0.5 g tin. These types of tins were used used by the German veterinary staff and are extremely rare to come by. The tins were manufactured and stamped Hauptner along with a code that denoted the contents. Measures approx 17 x 9 x 2 cm.

WW2 Early 1938 Helmet with Hessian Cover 1936
An early British MkII Helmet complete with field made hessian cover made from a French sack stamped SAINT FRIERS 1936. The helmet is in great condition retaining all its factory paint internally. The lugs are stamped 1938 whilst the Mk1 liner is stamped VERO 7 1938. I acquired this helmet whilst in France and can only 'assume' it would have belonged to a member of the BEF. read more

WW2 British MkII Helmet - Free French Forces ?
A British MkII helmet stamped RO Co 1939 with Mk1 liner stamped Helmets Ltd I 1939. The helmet has had a dark green/brown camouflage, slightly textured paint applied. The left hand side has a painted diamond emblem which I believe to be that of the Free French Forces, although faded the colours are clearly visible blue, white and red. read more
